We saw the matinee on Sunday. It has been a while since I’ve been to a musical, and this was a good one to get back on track. The production was all the fun tied up into live-action that the movie brought to the screen. If you are a fan of the film, then you need to see this show. It’s a little different from the movie, which makes it fresh. Many fans dressed in stripes of some sort, with some going full cosplay.

Based on Tim Burton’s dearly beloved film, BEETLEJUICE tells the story of Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager whose whole life changes when she meets a recently deceased couple and a demon with a thing for stripes. Entertainment Weekly calls it “A FEAST FOR THE EYES AND THE SOUL!”
Content advisory
: Recommended for 13+. Parental discretion advised. Contains strong language, mature subject matter, and a lot of the crazy, inappropriate stuff you would expect from a deranged demon. Beetlejuice includes substantial haze and fog, sudden loud noises, pyrotechnic and strobe lighting effects.

Oh yes, they even had a large sand worm and levitating Lydia.
Until we meet again.
